A Vineland woman was ejected from her vehicle after her car slid over a patch of ice Tuesday morning, police said.
Tanisha Hernandez, 22, was driving east on Garden Road near Delsea Drive when she drove over a patch of ice at an unknown rate of speed, police said in a release.
The vehicle spun off the road and crashed into a retaining wall for a flower bed, police said. Hernandez was ejected from the vehicle and suffered serious injuries. Police did not release any additional information on her condition.
Hernandez was issued summonses for careless driving, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a vehicle and driving with a suspended registration, no seat belt and no insurance.
