The first DARE Community Safety Day in Atlantic County is scheduled for Saturday, May 18, at the Atlantic County Special Services School in Hamilton Township.

Planned in conjunction with the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Office, the free event will raise awareness of DARE programs and feature a bicycle and skateboard stunt team and an appearance from Miss New Jersey Lindsey Petrosh.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Atlantic County Special Services School, 4805 Nawakwa Blvd., Mays Landing
