Deadline for Sandy victims to register for FEMA aid extended until March 1
Residents affected by Hurricane Sandy now have until March 1 to file for damages with FEMA.
The federal agency extended the deadline Thursday by 30 days to register for disaster assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
Registering with FEMA can be done online at www.DisasterAssistance.gov, by a mobile device at m.fema.gov, or by phone at 800-621-FEMA (3362).
