A driver suffered minor injuries when his car left the Atlantic City Expressway and overturned Monday evening.

Trooper Brian McCarty said the driver – whose identity was not released – was driving at mile marker 30.6 westbound when his vehicle left the road. The driver was trapped in the car and had to be freed by emergency personnel, McCarty said.

He was transported to Cooper University Hospital in Camden via helicopter for minor injuries, McCarty said.
