A school bus was involved in a four vehicle accident in the Greenfield section of Upper Township Thursday morning but state police said no children were involved.

Troopers from the Woodbine barracks responded to milepost 1.9 on Route 50 northbound at 8:52 a.m. for the accident, which occurred after a car driven by Michele Higbee, 20, of Seaville, struck a car that was stopped behind a school bus and another vehicle, police said.

The school bus was stopped and had its flashing lights on, police said.

The vehicle Higbee hit crashed into the vehicle in front of it which caused that vehicle to crash into the school bus, police said.

There were no children involved in the accident, police said.

Higbee complained of chest pain and was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City, police said.
