A southern New Jersey mother says she spotted a wood chip in the oatmeal that she was preparing to feed her 5-month-old son.
Dalia Cortes says she was mixing the ingredients when she saw the small, blue wood chip on Monday morning.
The Egg Harbor City resident tells WMGM-TV she was shocked that the chip wasn't noticed at the factory.
Cortes says Gerber asked her to return the chip and the box of oatmeal.
