February casino revenue figures released today By Donald Wittkowski, Staff Writer The Press of Atlantic City Media Group
Atlantic City has been contending with a sluggish economy and competition from casinos in surrounding states for many months, but February brought yet another challenge -- an unfriendly calendar.
This February had one fewer day than February 2012, which was Leap Year. Just how much that one fewer day affected casino revenue will be known today.
The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement is scheduled to release February's figures for slot machine and table game revenue at 2 p.m.
