Workers at the center will provide a full range of disaster assistance services to residents and businesses.

If you have suffered any losses during the storm, you need to register for FEMA assistance first before the agency can considered your claim. You can do that now in person at the Atlantic City center or call 1-800-621-3362 or go www.DisasterAssistance.gov or by smartphone at m.fema.gov.

The agency suggests you register first before coming to the center, in order to speed up the process. Any form of registration will require a social security number, any insurance information and bank information.

FEMA also has a disaster recovery center at the library in Cape May Court House, 30 Mechanic Street.
