RICHLAND -- About 100 firefighters and 21 tankers helped to control a large fire at a glass company on Harding Highway, according to Hamilton Township fire officials.

Fire crews responded to a fire in a manufacturing warehouse at Wilmad Glass Company at around 2:30 p.m,. according to chief Tony Monfredo. The fire started in the warehouse, which contained plastics and manufacturing equipment.

No one was injured in the fire, but the roughly 100-by-50-foot warehouse was completely burned out. The fire was under control at about 4:30 p.m. The cause is still under investigation by the Buena Vista Township fire marshal.

Wilmad had reopened a few weeks ago after a period of inactivity.
