A Gloucester County woman died Friday morning when her car suddenly veered off the Black Horse Pike in Folsom and hit a utility pole.

State Police said Dawn Steinbiss, 37, of Monroe Township's Williamstown section, was killed around 9 a.m. after her car drove for an unknown reason into a berm on the westbound side of the road and her driver side door struck a pole.

Steinbiss was pronounced dead at the scene by AtlantiCare paramedics. Collings Lakes and Folsom Borough Fire Department responded to the scene to assist. 

The accident is still under investigation.
