A former Atlantic County employee will not serve prison time after admitting to stealing more than $400 from the county’s Board of Taxation.

Keisha C. Mobley, 41, formerly of Atlantic City, pleaded guilty to third-degree official misconduct last month for taking money from tax appeals filed between March 2010 and June 2010, according to the county’s Prosecutor’s Office.

Superior Court Judge Bernard DeLury sentenced Mobley on Friday to a three year suspended sentence. She must pay more than $150 in fines and more than $400 in restitution to the county and forfeit the right to any future public employment.
