Four Little Egg Harbor Township residents were arrested Thursday on drug charges following a motor vehicle stop.

The stop occurred at Route 539 near Thomas Avenue in Little Egg Harbor Township, and authorities seized 90 bags of heroin from the vehicle, police said.

A search of the suspects’ apartment on the 700 block of Route 9 also netted marijuana, additional amounts of heroin, approximately 30 Oxycodone pills and a digital scale.

Police charged Thomas Wright, 34, Christine Bartholomew, 29, Dianne M. Wright, 51, and Peter Piegario, 51, with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Thomas Wright and Bartholomew were taken to Ocean County jail on $50,000 bail and Dianne Wright and Piegario were jailed on $25,000 bail.
