Atlantic City is giving free coffee to people on the Boardwalk during the fall, state officials announced today.

Weather permitting, coffee will be served from 7:30 a.m. until noon on weekends through Nov. 18 at the Boardwalk Operations Center at Indiana Avenue, according to a statement released today by the state Casino Reinvestment Development Authority.

Bicyclists can get air for their tires – also free – there as well.

The coffee will be donated by Formica Bros. Bakery, which has been open in the city’s Ducktown area for nearly a century.

The “Weekend Social” promotion also will include weekly drawings for VIP bags with DO AC merchandise and one grand-prize for an overnight stay at Tropicana Casino and Resort.
