A motor vehicle accident in Galloway Township knocked down a traffic pole and caused minor injuries.

Police said Sonal Kansagara, 30, of Egg Harbor Township, was attempting to make a left turn onto Moss Mill Road from New York Road at 4:41 p.m. but did not to yield to a vehicle driven by Cristi Gopen, 42, of Galloway, who was traveling south on Moss Mill Road.

The vehicles collided and Kansagara’s vehicle crashed into a traffic pole knocking it over.

Gopen and her passenger - a 14-year-old male who was not identified – suffered minor injuries and were transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Mainland Campus in Pomona, police said.

The New Jersey Department of Transportation repaired the traffic light, police said.
