Millville police are searching for a gunman who shot a gas attendant during a robbery early Thursday morning.

Police said the suspect shot a 51-year-old attendant in the leg while robbing him at the Gulf Gas Station on the 800 block of North 2nd Street at 1:20 a.m. He was transported to Cooper University Hospital in Camden via helicopter, police said.

The suspect then shot inside the store at another employee who was injured by debris when the bullet passed through a window, police said.

Neither injury is life threatening, police said.

Police did not release how much money was taken.
