Egg Harbor Township police are searching for two gas-powered generators which were stolen from the school district Transportation facility, located at 9 Swift Drive in the Sculville section, on Monday.

The generators, which were bolted down in the back of separate work vehicles, were reported stolen about 2:49 p.m, police said.

Each generator is valued at $1,900, and it appears they were removed from the yard through a hole that was cut in the fence on the property, police said.

The theft occured between March 1 and March 3.
