State and federal officials will hold a groundbreaking in Cape May County to mark the start of a project that will remove the only three traffic lights on the Garden State Parkway.

The project will result in the removal of traffic lights at Exits 9, 10 and 11, all in Middle Township, and the construction of overpasses and ramps.

The ceremony will be held 11 a.m. at the Cape May County Administration Building, 4 Moore Road, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210
