Hamilton Township police are searching for a man who attempted to rob a Mays Landing store at about 12:40 p.m. Saturday.
The would-be robber, about 40 years old, allegedly had a handgun and demanded cash in the CVS at 6056 Harding Highway.
The man was last seen walking west toward Route 50.
Police said they were looking for a white man, about 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds. He has red hair, freckles and a red or brown goatee.
