An Atlantic City home was struck by gunfire this morning, police said.

Police received a call at about 3:15 a.m. that a home on the 600 block of North Indiana Avenue was hit, Sgt. Monica McMenamin said. Patrol officers located numerous casings on Indiana Avenue and three holes in the northern side of the residence.

Two bullets were recovered inside, according to the report. A third remained lodged in an interior wall. No injuries were reported.

Those inside the residence told police they didn’t see any cars or people near the residence before the shooting, McMenamin said. They also said there were no ongoing conflicts.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Charles Stuart or any member of the Criminal Investigations Section at 609-347-5766.

Information can be called in anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 609-652-1234. Text anonymous information to tip411 (847411) beginning your text with ACPD.
