A homeless man was accused of using Ocean County Library computers to arrange a sexual encounter with someone he thought was a 14-year-old girl.

Stafford Township police arrested Thomas Savage, 25, on charges of attempted sexual assault, according to a news release.

Savage used free Internet service at a branch of the library in Stafford Township to make contact with an officer posing as an underage girl through Facebook, police said. He scheduled to meet the child at the library Monday afternoon, and police arrested him when he arrived, the release said.

Savage was taken to Ocean County Jail on $100,000 bail, police said.
