There will be temporary road closures in Northfield starting Wednesday through Sept. 6, according to the city.

The closings will allow NJ American Water Company to replace water mains in those areas.

The city is advising residents and emergency vehicles that they will have access to residences along those roads at all times, but no through-traffic will be permitted.

Parking restrictions may also be in effect and motorists should be aware of signage in the area.
