Ed Kline, president of the Galloway Township-based Kline Construction Co., will be the honoree at the Milton & Betty Katz Jewish Community Center’s annual gala, which will be held 5:30 p.m. Sunday at The Chelsea in Atlantic City.

Kline, 65, who lives in Margate, is being honored for constructing a business built on community advocacy, charitable endeavors and human kindness.

There will be a jewelry auction by Serago Roberts Jeweler and music provided by the Don’t Call Me Francis Band. Proceeds benefit the Katz JCC Scholarship Fund supporting children, families, seniors and others in need.  The JCC is located in Margate.

Kline won The Press of Atlantic City’s 18th annual Bailey Award this past winter, given to a community-minded business in the spirit of Jimmy Stewart’s character George Bailey in the movie “It’s a Wonderful Life.”
