A Little Egg Harbor Township man is facing drug charges after detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutors Office Special Operation Group Southern Enforcement Unit allegedly seized drugs and money at his home and from his vehicle Tuesday.
The county detectives, along with Little Egg Harbor and Stafford Township Police executed court-authorized search warrants on the vehicle and residence of Dominic Attino, 45, of Little Egg Harbor Township.
Attino was first stopped while driving his SUV on Route 72 in Stafford Township by members of the Ocean County Special Operations Group and the Stafford Police Department.
The traffic stop and warrant search resulted in the seizure of 357 Suboxone sublingual films, 11 30 mg Roxicet pain pills and eleven repressed blue pills of unknown composition, which field tested positive for heroin, authorities said.
Authorities also seized $7,378 from Attino's vehicle.
Following the motor vehicle stop, the Special Operations Group and Little Egg Harbor Township Police Department executed a search warrant at Attino’s Lakewood Court home in Little Egg Harbor Township where they seized a quantity of the drug MDMA, marijuana, 38 Clonidine pills and $521 in cash, police said.
Attino was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute a prescription legend drug, possession with intent to distribute CDS and two counts of possession of CDS.
He is lodged in the Ocean County Jail, Toms River on $50,000 bail with no 10 percent option.
