Little Egg Harbor Township police have arrested a 21-year-old man for allegedly using heroin in a Wawa parking lot.

Police responded at 2:50 p.m. Tuesday to the Wawa on Mathistown Road after a report that a man was in a vehicle using heroin.

Steven E. Hoxworth Jr., 21, of Absecon, was inside his car with several packages of heroin on his lap, police said in a release.

A search of the vehicle found that Hoxworth was in possession of hypodermic needles and other drug paraphernalia.
