Long Beach Island crews working to restore dunes following storm
Public works crews across Long Beach Island are working to push sand on beaches that were eroded again overnight during last night's storm.
Already damaged beaches and homes sustained more wind damage last night. Severe flooding as much as three feet of water has closed Long Beach Boulevard in Ship Bottom.
"It's bad again over here. It's deep, the water is definitely high," said Long Beach Township Mayor Joseph Mancini who was on his way onto the island this morning.
