Police have arrested one man and are searching for another after guns and about $3,000 in drugs were found at an EggHarborTownship residence this morning.
Atlantic City’s SWAT team and Special Investigations Unit along with township police searched a home on the 100 block of Mark Avenue following a three-month investigation let by Atlantic City Detective Paul Petinga and township Detective Mark Wagner, Lt. James Sarkos said.
Police found a semiautomatic weapon and a revolver inside the home, along with 159 bags of heroin estimated at $1,600 and 14.6 ounces of marijuana, with a street value of $1,400.
Daniel Vick II, 21, and Carlos Hernandez, 37, both of the township, were charged with various drug and weapons offenses, along with possession of a weapon by a prohibited person, due to both having criminal records.
Vick is being held on $150,000 bail. A warrant has been issued for Hernandez.
