A Manahawkin woman was hospitalized following a crash on Route 9 Tuesday, according to police.
A minivan driven by Eva Mazzatelli, 36, of Manahawkin was heading north on Route 9 when it struck a car driven by Jennifer Cahill, 34, of Manahawkin, police said in a release. Cahill was traveling west on Bay Avenue toward Route 72. She was extricated from the vehicle by Stafford Township firefighters and transported to Southern Ocean Medical Center. Her condition is not known at this time. Mazzatelli refused medical attention. Police are investigating.
