The tasters on the show were meteorologist Caitlin Roth and traffic reporter Kacie McDonnell.

Pegi Adam, of the New Jersey Peach Promotion Council, which hosted the contest, said that the final contestants were selected at farmers markets.

Adam said chefs came in and tasted the many pies and chose four finalists.

The prize for the winner, Anne Danilak, of Mickelton, was the choice of a overnight trip to Atlantic City or Cape May County with dinner for two. She chose Cape May.
