PLEASANTVILLE - A 55-year-old Mays Landing was struck by a car while crossing the Black Horse Pike at about 10 a.m. Thursday.

Police said the pedestrian was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus for non life-threatening injuries.

The incident occurred on Main Street when the pedestrian was struck by a work truck, operated by a 38-year-old Bridgeton man, police said.

Traffic was rerouted for 30 minutes while the scene was cleared, police said.

Police are investigating the scene.
