MILLVILLE – City police are searching for the man who allegedly robbed the Sun National Bank on High Street this morning.

Police said they went to the bank at 9:45 a.m. for a silent hold up alarm.

Upon arrival, bank officials said a man had entered the bank and gave a teller a note in which he demanded money, according to police. The man left the bank with an undetermined amount of money, they said.

The suspect did not display or threaten the use any weapon during the robbery, police said.

The bank’s security cameras captured images of the suspect during the robbery act, police said.

Anyone with information about the robbery can contact Detective Brian McManus of the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office at 856-207-1141, or local Police Department Detective Sean Guy at 856-265-4596.
