MILLVILLE — The Levoy Theatre and a South Jersey hotel-restaurant company announced a partnership Monday to give theater customers and visiting artists special rates and discounts.

The agreement involves the Levoy and Vineland-based Tower Hospitality. Tower Hospitality’s properties include a Days Inn, Wingate by Wyndham, Holiday Inn Express and Hampton Inn & Suites, all of which are in Vineland. The company also owns a Denny’s in Vineland.

Levoy and Tower Hospitality officials said in a statement that with most of the theater’s performances occurring on Friday and Saturday evenings, the packages will allow patrons to spend a weekend in the area. That will allow those visiting theater patrons to also visit the city’s arts district, the Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center, the New Jersey Motorsports Park and the municipality’s Riverwalk, the statement reads.

“This partnership helps to continue our goal to make the Levoy a cornerstone in the rebirth of downtown Millville,” Vincent Bianca, the Levoy’s director of theater operations, said in the statement. “Each of the Tower Hospitality’s hotels has created a fantastic package to include overnight accommodations and gift certificates to the Levoy.”

“The owners of Tower Hospitality are a local family with many ties to the area and they grew up attending performances at the Levoy prior to its rebirth, so this makes our partnership even more exciting,” said Tower Hospitality’s Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing Janice Jones.
