Nine people were ejected from a minivan when it rolled over on the Atlantic City Expressway on Wednesday night.

The accident occurred on the westbound side of the highway at milemarker 39 in Winslow Township, police said.

The nine occupants were from Philadelphia and included six children, ranging in age from 5 to 10 years old, and three adults, police said. The driver, Sylvia Hernandez, 34, was flown to Cooper University Hospital in Camden along with two children.

Hernandez was reported to have the most serious injuries, and two children were in critical but stable condition, police said. All the other occupants were transported via ambulance and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
