On May 19th 2018, in Atlantic City on the Bartram beach, the Surfrider Foundation organized a beach cleaning. Also, a Kayaker, Margo Pellegrino from Medford Lakes, paddles into the inlet from the Longport Dog Beach heading to Washington DC for the March for the Ocean on June 9. The volunteers took a moment to have a hands across the sand demonstration.
