HAMILTON TOWNSHIP - Police arrested and charged a Mays Landing woman for interference with custody after disappearing with an infant during an unsupervised court ordered visitation.

Police said Shakira Lovelace took 2-month-old Emmanuel Lovelace, and did not return to the child's father at the specified court ordered time on Saturday.

She was last seen at Cologne Garden Apartments.

Police searched for the pair and with the help of multiple law enforcement agencies located them at a train station in Albany, N.Y.

Lovelace was on medication for an undisclosed psychological issue, according to police

She was arrested in New York and charged with endangering the welfare of a child and interference with custody.

Police said they are in the process of extraditing Lovelace to South Jersey Monday morning.
