EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP — The 60-year-old motorcyclist from Atlantic City who was killed in an accident Saturday afternoon on the Black Horse Pike across from the Howard Johnson’s hotel has been identified.

Johnny Jeu was driving west on the Black Horse Pike about 12:30 p.m. and was approaching the entrance of the hotel. He neared the rear of a vehicle waiting to enter traffic when he failed to maintain control of the Harley Davidson motorcycle and it began to skid, police said.

The motorcycle slid into the car driven by Carmen G. Montero, 36, of Galloway Township, police said.

The motorcyclist was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus, in Atlantic City and was pronounced dead about 1:30 p.m.
