Two more flashing yellow beacons may go up in Northfield along busy Wabash Avenue.

The city is requesting the flashing lights at the intersections of Wabash and Mill Road, as well as Wabash and Zion Road, Atlantic County Administrator Jerry Delrosso said.

The county and city had an agreement for similar lights at Mill Road and Burton Avenue, “and the feedback from residents has been extremely positive,” Delrosso said.

The county is in the process of conducting a study, after which the two entities would enter into another agreement for the two flashing lights. The estimated cost was not available.
