BUENA VISTA TOWNSHIP — A male driver was taken to the hospital Thursday after hitting a utility pole near Buena Regional High School, State Police said.

The driver of a Honda Civic was on Weymouth Road when he left the road and hit the pole, State police said. He was believed to be alone in the car.

After the accident, the driver complained of head pain and was transferred by EMS to Inspira Medical Center Elmer in Salem County, police said.

The initial accident report did not have the driver's name, or what caused the car to leave the road, police said. The incident did not tie-up traffic.
