MILLVILLE – Opening night at the Levoy Theatre is being pushed back for a week so workers can make up for construction lost because of problems related to the June 30 storm.
The opening night performance of “The Music Man” is now scheduled for Aug. 10, officials with the theater and the Off Broad Street Players announced.
Ticket holders can get a full refund for the price of the ticket and ticket fee, or transfer their current ticket to one of the new show dates, theater officials said.
The new schedule for performances of “The Music Man” is 8 p.m. on Aug. 10; 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Aug. 11; and 2 p.m. on Aug. 12. The Aug. 9 community show will now be held on Aug. 12.
People with tickets for the Aug. 3 show can exchange their seats for the Aug. 10 show. Those with tickets for the Aug. 9 community show can exchange their seats for Aug. 12. All other current ticket holders can request any available seat for any available date for “The Music Man.”
“We apologize for any inconvenience this schedule change may cause,” theater officials said in a news release. “All other show dates remain the same.”
