NORTH WILDWOOD - Police caught 19-year-old Jared Brown while he was leaving the area of the 300 East block of 25th Avenue with several phone chargers and GPS devices.

An officer had responded to the area at about 2:58 a.m., in the area of 26th and Surf Avenues, for an unrelated disturbance call, police said. After the Wyncote, Penn. resident was observed, further investigation revealed the items in his possession were stolen.

Brown was arrested and charged with burglary, theft, receiving stolen property and possession of bath salts- which is considered a controlled dangerous substance. He is in Cape May County jail on 10 percent of $25,000 bail, police said.
