Pleasantville police were investigating a motor vehicle accident Tuesday involving multiple people and children at Franklin Avenue and the Black Horse Pike.
Several ambulances were called to the scene after 3 p.m. and at least three vehicles were damaged, but police did not release any information Tuesday evening. At least half a dozen people, including children, were transported to the hospital in the ambulances, but there was no word on the severity of injuries, if any.
Traffic was blocked on the pike in both directions for about 15 minutes before the scene was cleared by 4 p.m.
