VINELAND - Police said they're searching for the second of two men wanted in connection with a shooting at a local bar on Sept. 3.

One suspect - Brandon Erazo - is already in custody on charges that include criminal attempted homicide, according to a statement released today by city police.

The second suspect - 19-year-old Joshua Maldonado of South State Street - is still at large, said police, adding that Maldonado should be approached with caution because he may be armed with a handgun.

Police said units were sent to the Oak Tavern in the 500 block of North West Boulevard about 11:30 p.m. Sept. 3 after getting a report of a shooting. Two vehicles were shot during the incident, they said.

Erazo, for whom no age or address was provided, was arrested Sept. 8. He is charged with criminal attempted homicide, aggravated assault, possession of a handgun for an unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a handgun, police said. Police said Erazo is being held in Cumberland County jail on $500,000 bail set by Superior Court Judge Robert Becker.

Maldonado is wanted on two counts of aggravated assault and one count of unlawful possession of a handgun, police said.

Police said the investigation is continuing. Anyone with information about the incident can call Crime Stoppers at 856-691-0345, or Det. Antonio Ramos at 856-691-4111, ext. 4373.
