A tip led Mullica Township police to discover a marijuana-growing facility at a home in the township Friday.

Police said they conducted surveillance on a home on the 5100 block of Pleasant Mills Road in the Sweetwater section on Friday. A search of the home and a motor vehicle stop of a vehicle that left the home resulted in the discovery of the growth facility in the building’s attic equipped with indoor heat lamps, air filtration system and insulation in order to keep a warm temperature for growing, police said.
