Police are investigating an afternoon attack that injured a man at the Lighthouse Plaza in Atlantic City.
Craig Davison, 56, was struck in the head with a hard object causing a laceration, a female friend told police who responded to the 12:54 p.m. call Sunday, Sgt. Monica McMenamin said.

Police found Davison on a stairwell between the 11th and 12th floors of the building on the 300 block of Atlantic Avenue.
The suspect is described as a black male with a medium complexion last seen wearing a white T-shirt, black basketball shorts and a New York Yankees baseball cap.
