Police are searching for suspects involved in an armed robbery at the Royal Lodge motel on Route 30 in Absecon Monday night.
Three men allegedly entered the office to inquire about room rates when they forced their way to the back of the office, bound five victims and robbed them at gunpoint, police said.
The suspects stole about $3,000 in cash and $2,600 in jewelry and electronics before running away, police said. The victims were then able to free themselves and called 911 at about 9:24 p.m.
The suspects are all described as weighing between 200 and 250, pounds, and about 5 feet 10 inches in height. They wore black jackets, black jeans, black boots and a gray knitted hat with a face mask. They are estimated to be about 25 to 35 years old.
