When he was arrested last year, the home-invasion suspect gave his last name as Daugherty, police said.

Atlantic City police have identified two individuals linked to a report of shots fired less than 24 hour ago.

Police received the alert at about 8:23 p.m. of shots fired both through Shot Spotter and several 911 calls.

A vehicle was struck and a juvenile male, who was believed to be the intended target, was found at the scene, police said.

Police arrested a 16-year-old Atlantic City resident earlier today, who has been taken to Harborfields detention center and charged with aggravated assault and weapons violations. 

An arrest warrant has been issued for Akram Daugherty, 18, of Mays Landing. Daugherty is considered armed and dangerous, and has also been charged with aggravated assault and weapons violations.
