Atlantic City promoted a dozen members of the police and fire departments today.
The Fire Department now has five new battalion chiefs and three new captains. The Police Department promoted four sergeants to lieutenant and added a captain.
The new battalion chiefs are: Joseph Haney, Allen Huggins, William Brooks, Angelo DeMaio and Thomas Culleny Jr. Moving to captain are Jeffrey Bird, James Gillespie and Joseph Daily.
Daniel Ritzel will now be promoted to captain and Sgts. Lee Hendricks, Harry Brubaker, Rudy Lushina and Eric Scheffler will become lieutenants.
