A drier tonight and Thursday are predicted, compared to weather models of earlier this week.
The National Weather Service predicts rain in the evening for the region, followed by light snow late into the night.
“It looks like everything should over by around 7 a.m. Thursday,” said NWS meteorologist Valerie Meola. The region is expected to see no more than about half an inch of snow.
A dry and partly sunny day is expected Thursday.
