Pennsylvania's second largest casino based on gambling revenue is for sale, The Philadelphia Inquirer is reporting.
According to unnamed sources with knowledge of the situation, Las Vegas Sands Corp. is asking for as much as $1 billion for its Sands Bethlehem property in Bethlehem, Pa., which earned $109 million over the 12-month period ending Sept. 30.
Ron Reese, a Las Vegas Sands spokesman, told the paper that the company does not respond to market speculation or rumor.
"We are proud of the financial results the property has achieved and the role we have played as a community partner there," Reese said.
