LAS VEGAS -- Designers of two Atlantic City casinos won industry awards issued at the annual Global Gaming Expo on Tuesday.
BLT Architects, Arquitectonica and SOSH Architects won four awards this year for best landscape design, best overall interior design, best overall construction of a casino of more than $250 million and best overall architecture of a casino for more than $250 million for their work designing and building Revel in Atlantic City. Sceno Plus also was awarded best interior design for its work on Ovation Hall in Revel.
For its work at Golden Nugget Atlantic City, Cuningham Group won the best architectural redesign or expansion for a casino this year.
The awards are the only ones of its kind in the industry, organizers said. The global gaming expo is the industry's largest trade show.
