ATLANTIC CITY - A preliminary investigation revealed a Sewell man fell from the 4th floor roof of Bally's Wild West Casino Sunday while taking pictures in a restricted area.

The 21-year-old was discovered, unconscious and unresponsive, on top of the boardwalk ramp at Arkansas Avenue, and police responded at 4:18 a.m.

He was taken to the Regional Trauma Unit at AtlantiCare's City Campus, Sgt. Monica McMenamin said. He was pronounced dead about 25 minutes later.

No foul play is suspected at this point, McMenamin said. "It appears the male accidentally fell from a ledge after leaning on a decorative foam element at the roof level. The foam element was located near the male’s body on the ground."
